The "Nutrition Counseling" program is a program aimed at providing nutritional counseling to an individual client to enhance their nutritional health. A Registered, Licensed Nutritionist can provide counseling to an individual client about eating habits, nutritional meals, weight loss or gain, nutrient analysis, and planned meals.
The "Nutrition Education" program provides nutrition educational materials to individuals and group clients concerning meals, food items, cooking for one person, food interactions, dietary supplements, and nutritional goals. A Registered, Licensed Nutritionist provides these materials, as well as the agency form various services.
This program provides nutritionally balanced meals to persons over the age of 60, and their spouse in a congregate setting. This meal meets one-third (1/3) of the RDA (Recommended Dietary Council) per meal 5 days a week. This is provided in secure, pleasant surroundings with organized activities.
This program provides home delivery of nutritionally balanced meals to persons over the age of 60, and their spouses in some cases, who are homebound through illness, or other incapacitating situations. This meal meets one-third (1/3) of the RDA (Recommended Dietary Council, Food and Nutrition Board, National Academy of Sciences - National Research Council) per meal. This is provided through delivery times established with the client, and based on which meal service that they choose.
